"If you show me how to cling to that which is real to me while teaching me a way into the larger society, then and only then will I drop my defenses and my hostility and I will sing your praises and help you to make the desert bear fruit."

Today, school administrators, educators, and support staff are required to do much more than develop students academically. The goal of educators is to enable students with special needs to become independent, contributing members of society, who understand their purpose in life and are given the tools and opportunity to fulfill it. We build and strengthen those character traits in the students that enable them to make the best choices when faced with life’s challenges. We teach them how to develop and strengthen their resilience muscle or the ability to overcome the effects of disability. My mission is to provide resources that educate, equip, and empower all associated with the school system as they strive to fulfill their responsibilities to their students and the families they serve.
